Open Data Maturity Report 2019

This report is the fifth in a series of annual studies that assess the level of open data maturity in the EU28 Member States plus the European Free Trade Association countries (or “EFTA”: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, together called the EU28+ countries). The report serves as a benchmark to gain insights into the development achieved in the field of open data in Europe. The assessment measures maturity against four open data dimensions: policy, portal, impact, and quality.

Open Data Maturity in Europe 2017

This report is the third in a series of annual studies and explores the level of Open Data Maturity in the EU28. The report reveals that governments across Europe have not only prioritised Open Data more strongly in 2017, but are actually engaging in a race to the top. The majority of the countries demonstrate a solid understanding of the impact of Open Data in paving the way for the data economy. Open Data Maturity in Europe 2016

This report is the second in a series of annual studies and explores the level of Open Data Maturity in the EU28 and Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein – referred to as EU28+. The measurement is built on two key indicators Open Data Readiness and Portal Maturity, thereby covering the level of development of national activities promoting Open Data as well as the level of development of national portals. In 2016, with a 28.6% increase compared to 2015, the EU28+ countries completed over 55% of their Open Data journey showing that, by 2016, a majority of the EU28+ countries have successfully
